Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain bitter taste in mouth in your case is due to infection caused by Malaria parasite as well as side effect of the anti-malaria drugs..
Changes in the body temperature and release of toxins by the infection organisms can cause the symptoms of fever, headache, and bitter taste in mouth..

Nothing to worry as it will resolve once the infection resolve..

As of now to mask the bitterness you can chew flavoured sugar free chewing gum and gargle with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash...

Hope this helps..

Regards..
