Hello,
From your prescription it is very difficult to give a right answer to your concerns.
In most of the cases the fluid retention is a result of renal or cardiac pathologies, protein or electrolyte dis balance or uncontrolled hypothyroidism. In your case an over production of the cortisol from the adrenal mass or an insufficient dose of the thyroid hormone are the most probable causes.
I would suggest you to attach the exams you have done until now and than give a proper answer or recommend further exams if needed.
Your current treatment for the hypothyroidism and the dose would help us to say if it is well controlled or changes should be done.
Hope the information will help.
It will be a pleasure to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
