What Causes Back Pain After Having An Abortion?

Hi I'm having pain in my left side/ lower back, my hip hurts when I walk, I had an abortion 2 days ago and I wonder If I was on my feet too long or if I should be worried, it's not completely unbearable, but I have a pretty noticeable limp when I walk.

Hi.

It is usually due to the pressure of the uterus that underwent some changes during the procedure, causing the radiation of pain to the surrounding structures or due to the relaxation of the uterus putting pressure on surrounding structures including blood vessels, that can incite pain. It should subside in a few days time, take bed rest for a few days, but remember to rehabilitate as soon as possible for better results.

Best wishes.
