What Causes An Abscess On The Wrist While Suffering From Kidney Pain?
I have been using meth regularly and stopped two days ago. My left kidney is hurting badly, as it did last time I stopped using. I also have an abcess in my wrist. I don t know if that s related to the kidney pain or not. I had an abcrss last time ass well. Is the kidney pain relTed? What can I do to help it?
1. For your painful kidney, should run urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound, kidney function test to rule out related damage.
2. Abcess on your wrist is not related to kidney but possible skin infection that needs prescription medicines.
As you see, in either case, you need to consult with your primary physician first to get a full diagnosis and tests then go for the best treatment strategy.
Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. Take paracetamol to ease the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
