What Causes An Abscess On The Rib Cage?
Doctor says I have an abscess in between my rib cage. I was scheduled for surgery but my insurance just got cancelled. I m in a lot of pain especially when I take deep breath. How serious can this abscess be and what should I do about the psin. MOTRIN 800 and oxycodone are not helping. I m super scare now. It s been hurting for a week more or less.

As you explain the situation abcess in all situation needs dranaige through surgery.If you can not do this then you can go to the ER for the medical help for the pain.
