General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for your query. I understand your concern. If you are not using depo contraceptive.... your old problem of irregular periods seems yo have tecurred. Mostly it is hormonal imbalance ( pcod/thyroid or ovarian problem or fibroid of uterus../ severe anemia. Even physical or psychological stress can lead to it.l You should get it onvestigated by cbc/thyroid function tests/usg screening . Also get an expert gynecologist's consultayion for cause specific treatment. Having balanced nourishious diet/regular exercises/ manage over weight along with avoiding stress is essential. This should accompany suitable advise by expert for msnagement. Pl. don't worry you would make it with a patient effort. Thanks.
