good morning doctor, This is regarding my wife. She has uterine fibroids. Now whenever she has menstrual periods, she has acute pain in the right groin coupled with diarrhoea. The sigmaidoscopy and the colonoscopy tests were normal. when we consulted a consulted a gynaecologist, she said that the fibroids are too small to cause such acute pain. we also consulted a gastroenterolofist who had put her on normaxin. but the relief is only temporary and the ailment invariably recurs. A physician when consulted told that even when menstrual periods cease, the fibroids still contain the menstrual blood which could be the cause of pain. we are in a state of total confusion. Kindly advise on the tests and the medication
