What Causes Aches In Hips And Bright Blood After Passing Bowel Movement?

(I am 34, 5'8", 270 pds - no medical history of significance - two children.) I have a hip that aches when I am sitting and lower abdominal aching sensation almost all the time. Also, sometimes light, bright blood after a bowel movement. (Somewhat overweight, but healthy otherwise.)
