What Causes Absence Of Periods With Lower Back Pain?
I am 24 years old and have had two kids age 5 and 17 months. I have not had a period in 8 months and the last two months have had pelvic pain with severe lower back pain that is very sharp. I have went to er a month ago and said I have cyst on my ovaries and just gave me pain medicine and sent me home. Well this last week my back pain has gotten more severe to where I can barely bend over or walk. Sitting is very uncomfortable too.Tonight I passed a blood clot that was brown with with a little bit of red in it. Should I go to er to be evaluated again?

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello dear,
Thank you for your contact to health care magic.
I read and understand your concern.
I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.
Definitive treatment of the cyst is the surgical correction either open or laparoscopic.
I advice first you should diagnose the exact type of cysts. There are various types of ovarian cysts. And each has slightly different mode of management.
I advice you to get diagnose and visit the doctor thereafter this will make eligible for type of surgery you are having. Once surgically corrected you are clear with all the problem your having.
I will be happy to answer your further concern on bit.ly/DrArun.
Thank you, Dr Arun Tank Infectious diseases specialist, HCM.
