My daughter received the depo shot 2 1/2 months ago, she is due for her second shot on the 25th of this month. She is 17 years old, weighs 160 lbs and is 5'4" in height. A couple of days ago, her period started but now, she has also been passing tissue from the size of a dime to the size of a silver dollar. This has happened 3 times in two days and I am now getting a little worried. There is no chance that she is pregnant. Is this one of the side effects of the depo provera? Due to the shedding of the lining of the uterus maybe? Thank you very much
