What Causes Abnormal Bowel Movements?

Hi my daughter is 3 1/2 and consistently has unformed bowel movements. They range in color from very pale to the usual brown, they are frothy in consistency. She has a lot of sensory issues which we are looking into with early intervention part of this is also her eating. Although we offer and encourage she will often refuse to eat certain types of food preferring either bread or yogurt. I am not sure if I should see a dietician about it. I had a stool maple taken over a year ago now when I was first concerned but it came back normal. Is there anything else I should be doing?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the consistency of stool may indicates the Giardiasis but it has to be confirmed clinically although diarrheal condition in pediatric age groups are self limiting it seldom needs medication so you can wait for some time for this and if the condition persist then Metronidazole can be started or you can see the doctor hope this information helps.
