Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If the abortion was performed by a specialist with all necessary precautions, there should not be any infection. Watery discharge is common after an abortion as it is the serous ooze of the residual products. Sometimes small pieces of membranes also may be seen as the uterus retracts and starts involuting. This can also be the cause of the pain. Yet, if the pain is so severe, please consult your health care provider and see if you need any further assistance. Uterine anti-spasmodics may also help to relieve the pain. Hope this helps.
