What Causes Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea In A Heart Patient?
I have been diagnosed with SVT but the last four weeks I ve been throwing up a few times and had stomach pain and diarrhea not sure what could be causing this I also have gallstones .... Slight fever tired and weak when the throwing up and diarrhea happens for about two days.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea in a heart patient which is most probably due to all of the changes taking place in your body such as electrolyte imbalance and due to underlying medical condition.Symptoms can also occur due to condition like gastritis , IBS and ulcers . I would suggest you to get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating , eat small meals or snacks often ,try not to skip meals. You should avoid intake of outside food. You should eat cold food instead of hot, as it may not smell as strongly , sniffing lemons or ginger can sometimes help an upset stomach. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days the consult gynecologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
