What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Vaginal Bleeding?

i just completed my ovulation yesterday. but a day before then,i had this abdominal pain that lasted for 5 mins. i do feel pain some months but it has never been for that long. it justs tweaks and go. then the last day of my ovulation, the same pain came again.this time around, it was persistent and i bled....not spotting. i had to use a pad! it has never happened to me before. i bled for 7 hours though i wasnt as heavy as a regular flow. then i had edema on my legs. Very first experience EVER! and yes, I AM BOTHERED. NB: i am not sexually active and 28years old. i would really appreciate any form of assistance. thank you

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of pain and bleeding. It can be due to some ovarian cyst. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to find out if there is any other cause of irregular bleeding. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
