What Causes A White Dot On The Rim Of My Pupil?

why do i have a little white dot on the rim of my pupil?everytime i wake up in the morning i have that icky stuff around my eyes that make my eyelases stuck togother (i guessed it was a infection) , it burns alot, around the little dot its red n irritation. i bout over the counter eye drops but they burnnnnn allootttt and it dosent seem to make them betterr, yes i wear contact lenses. i sometimess clean them and sometimes take them off. so why do i have this dot? is it harmful to my vision? do i NEED to go see a doctor?

it appears the dot is on cornea.again you have said it is sticky and looks red. to know the exact location it is to be examined in slit lamp by eye doctor one it can be in cornea aforgein body stuck and gone out causing infection. it requires anti biotic 6hourly and warm phomantation. if its in pupil then it can only uveitis making some deposit and in the process of forming occlusio pupil. so get it examined by eye doctor and diagnosis can be confirmed.
