I have had a swollen lymph node just under ear lobe and right behind jaw line that has grown in size for a little over a year. It has steadily but very slowly gotten bigger. My CT scan revealed swollen cervical chain lymph nodes. The one that is under my ear is hard but not hard like a stone more like rubber. It is probably the size of a small grape. I am being tested for various viruses but I am feeling like reguardless of the tests I would like a biopsy done mainly due to the fact that this is painless and if I tested positive for lyme, epstein barr, or cat scratch the likely hood of me getting in the past few months is high and this node has been ongrowing for a year with no tenderness.What do you think?
