What Causes A Red Itchy Rash On The Buttocks?

I have what looks like a bite on my buttcrack and my mom thinks it s looks a like a bite also it doesn t really itch like all the time or bother me really, but I don t really try to mess with it. But it does somewhat bother me when I sit down cause I have to take it easy as I sit down in a chair. Please help!!! Thank you!

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can consider cleaning the area twice daily with an antiseptic and applying a topical antibiotic as well.
Both of these are over the counter.

If it has an abscess (collection of pus/discharge) appearance , then apply magnesium sulphate cream would help any pus/discharge present to come out.
An abscess would need to be reviewed by a doctor however because definitive management involves incision and drainage.
