What Causes A Prominent Whooshing Noise In Both Of My Ears?
I have a prominent whooshing noise in both of my ears that is in line with my heart beat. I do have a heart murmur, a bout of high blood pressure and irregular heart beats so I m not sure if they are related. It has been on-going for months. There is no ringing associated with it and I ve noticed that when my heart skips a beat or is irregular that the whooshing noise is the same.
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history of having whooshing sound that is coordinate with he heart beat, including with the missed heart beats. You also have high BP and irregular beats sometimes it looks.
These findings are suggestive that both the ears are full with fluid and are inflamed so much that the pulsations are audibily transmitted for you have to have this whooshing sound. I would advise in all such cases to have an ENT examination and CT scan with contrast to rule out the presence of any other abnormality.
If this is due to the fluid, it is best way to drain it so that the results are prompt and permanent. Continue on the antibiotics and other medications as might have been advised by your Doctor .
