A couple months ago I noticed a pink pea sized growth against my tonsils. It has not gone away and seems to be slightly larger. The anatomy of my left tonsil seems to be changing in appearance with this over the last couple months. Sometimes it feels mildly sore and scratchy and I have dry throat all the time since. Is this anything to be concerned about?
Unilateral tonsillar growth is always risky. Do a throat examination and the tonsil should preferably be removed and tested histopathologically to confirm a diagnosis.
