What Causes A Persistent Cough And Runny Nose In A Child?

my son is 3 aND he does have allergies...but hasnt been taking his zyrtec for awhile and he seems to be getting colds alot..everytime i turn around they have colds cough runny nose but no fevers i do have 1 yr twin girls...so i was wondering if i should worry about him getting reaccuring colds.and also hes been complaining of leg pain every once in awhile its mainly at night or in the late evening its never swelled or anything and he walks on it but i worry about childhood cancer ever since i heard about my aunts husbands grandson being the same age as my son and having it.

Hello,

Persistent cough and runny nose looks like allergies any pets cockroaches open fields specific food so try to avoid triggering factor.

Another cause is foreign body impaction in nose, 3 year old with leg pains is growing pains typically occurs in night.

It will reduce with foods rich in calcium like milk yogurt and vit D supplementation.it is unlikely to be cancer as usually cancer presents with severe night cries bleeding manifestations local swelling and anemia.
