The doctor read the monitor reading a came to conclusion it was a premature heart beat. My resting heart rate is low averaging between 46 bpm to 56 bpm. The doctor said it is not a concern. Hello Went through your post, your heart rate is a bit lower however if you are asymptomatic and don't have giddiness or any episode of loss of consciousness then there is no need to worry. A heart rate as low as 40 if with out symptoms does not warrant any treatment, it is generally seen in athletes and is normal. Premature heart beats are seen normally especially a cup of coffee or tea and sometimes with out any reason. I don't think you have any active cardiac problem which warrants any immediate action.
