Hallow Dear, I fail to understand the indication of consuming I-pill while on menses. It was not indicated even if you had intercourse during your menses. During menses, there is no egg present to make you pregnant. I-pill is an emergency post coital contraceptive pill which prevents pregnancy if taken within 72 hours after the unprotected sex. These pills have following after effects: 1. Few days after the administration of the pill, some amount of bleeding may take place. This is self limiting and usually stops within a couple of days. It requires no medical attention. 2. The periods following these pills may get delayed by few days to a week. Your periods are delayed due to I-pill. You will get them within a weeks time. In future, please avoid having intercourse during menses lest the risk of infection. Blood is a very good medium for the pathological organisms to grow.
