for the past few months my eyes have been producing this sticky white stuff and my eyes are often irritated, i have been to the doctor she said it was hay fever and to just clean my eyes with warm water. i did this for some time with no improvement. a rash then appeared on my left eyelid i went to the pharmacist and he said it was an eye infection i took the eye drops and used them 4 times in a day for 5 days as he instructed, the rash went but my eyes still produce the sticky substance and are still irritated i have also notice on the corner of the whites of my left eye is like a blue patch i compared with my other eye and i don't think that patch should be there, what do you think is wrong with my eye?
It appears to be conjunctivitis. thread like things are from conjuctival discharge. clean the cojuctival sac with sterile swab. should use ofloxacin .3% eye drop 4times daily. neosporine eye ointment can be applied at bed time.
