Hi I am almost 4 months post partuma nd I have had my peroid 3 times for the last month I have been very nasues only at lunch time I started taking a new birth control about 2 months ago I am lactose intolerant I take the pill at 6 every morning could it take 6 hours to affect me? or is being nasues normal?
Hello, The nausea could be related to the pills or to your lactose intolerance. Please check if you are developing it after any specific food intake. Foods containing milk and milk products are to be taken with caution as these cause vomiting/nausea. The occurrence of frequent periods is a common side effect when pills are taken and this should subside within a couple of months; if not, you may have to change the combination or go for a different mode of contraception after consulting your specialist. Hope this helps.
