What Cause Milky White Discharge After An Unprotected Sex?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the first day of my next birth control pill pack, I missed the pill that night (as I take it before bed every night) because I wasn t able to get to the pharmacy before it closed. This was exactly a week ago today. My birth control instructs me to take two pills in one day the day after I ve missed one. I ve done this a couple times before and each time it causes vomiting and nausea, this time around was no different. Monday morning I woke up around 4:30 and was sick. The nausea went away by 9am and I was able to keep food down for the rest of the day. However, later that day I noticed I had a milky white discharge, I didn t give it much thought as I am often a victim of yeast infections, I get them roughly once a month. The milky fluid was exactly like any other yeast infection I ve ever had. I have also experienced mood swings this past week accompanied by a constant hunger, I just eat all the time. I ve also just now developed a soreness/tightness in my lower abdomen just above my pubic bone and up in my groin area just under my hips. It is most painful when I engage my tranverse abdominal muscles, as if I ve worked them out. I m absolutely terrified that I am pregnant because I cannot afford a child right now but I know that some of these are considered signs of early pregnancy. Please any expert advice that you can give me would be much appreciated.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of a possible infection in the pelvis. You have very little chance of conception since ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period and you had the intercourse during the safe period. Moreover, your cycle is protected. Please see your health care provider for a proper clinical evaluation and plan further management. Hope this helps.
