Hello my son has been diagnosed with longsightedness. He has to have drops put in to check the muscles at the back of his eyes. He has started complaining of seeing green spots at nightime and white spots which are there all day. He also says things change shape. He also gets regular nose bleeds. He is 4
Your son is having hypermetropia. This shows he has got a small eye. The problem is axial and requires spherical correction. For 3to4 years he may not require correction. They are predisposed to develop convergent squint. He will have dificulty to read in the evening. Upto 4d you can go for lasik. These children develop recurrent style blepheritis. Correction is required when you see signs of convergent squint. There is no relation with bleeding nose. for which you may consult ENT surgeon. With such symptom you have to go for correction.
