General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Specks of blood in sputum in the morning once in 5-7 days means there is inflammation and hence may be increased vasculature.
GP may not diagnosed this properly, hence get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for ENT endoscopy, CT scan of chest to rule out any chest infection, tuberculosis being a common cause.
Get a course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant.
If any specific cause is found Like tuberculosis or so, get treated properly.
If nothing specific is found, do not worry as this will settle with proper medication.
