my partner has bruising appear on her arms and legs, mainly on her legs and appears for no reason, her mother has a condition called ET (cant remember exact name but its to do with platelet count) and has recently had a full blood count which came back clear, she is currently taking the celest contraceptive pill and has been for the past 4 months, the bruising appears randomaly and is not tender to the touch. there is a history of daiabities in her family, could this possibly have something to do with it. we have 3 small children and at first thought it may be when they climb into our bed in the early hours but the bruising also appears in strange places where it would be virtually impossibe for them to cause (inside leg, inside of arm etc). in short could diabities cause this or is this a problem associated with the contraseptive pill, another thought is that the blood count somehow got mixed up (very unlikely i know) and she got wrong results. there are no other real problems, she has also lost weight lately without being on a diet, we have put this down to her having a small farme and just returning to the size she was before the children were born.
