What Can Cause Vertigo,stomach Cramps,nausea,pain In Lower Back And Frequent Urination?

Hello Doctor. My wife is suffering from Vertigo since the past 4-5 days. She is also suffering from stomach cramps nausea, pain in the lower back and frequent urination. the home preganancy test is negative. she is a patient of PCOD and also has a hiostory of vertigo. her periods are dur around 15th August. But being a patient of PCOD its never regular. Can you please explain the above symptoms?

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your concern. In the current scenario, two things are more likely. She being a case of PCOD, ruptured ovarian cyst should be excluded. Given her symptoms, urinary tract infection also should be excluded. Please remember that home pregnancy test reads well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period with regular cycles. As she has irregular cycles, this is not possible. Hence, you have to go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titers along with a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the issue. Hope this helps.
