What Can Cause Swelling And Popping Sensation In The Feet And Ankles?

My mom is 70. She weighs about 95 pounds. Not active. About two months ago, she became unsteady and her legs are weak. She says they feel really heavy and like her feet and ankles will pop because they feel swollen to excess even though they arent. She has to hang on to furniture and walls to go to the restroom. She is wobbly.

Hello,

The given symptoms could be due to spinal cord inflammatory disease it can be disc lesion.

For confirmation CT dorsal spine is a must, besides this, it can be due to general debility.

If it is the diabetes patient is having so it has to be maintained on a tight rule basis.

An extra supplement of the vitamin can be tried, in a geriatric group of patient several reasons are there for single symptoms and that demands many tests with clinical examination.
