What Can Cause Sudden Onset Of Eye Floaters And Flashes In Both Eyes?

wife took benadryl (recommended dose) two nights in a row. On the second morning she experienced the sudden onset of eye floaters and "flashes" in both eyes. upon exam this morning, othamologist says it's just a natural aging thing. These symptoms have persisted for 10 days now. Any ideas???? Thanks.

benadryl is not related to floaters. floaters are degenerative body with age. nothing to worry. only thing is every 6 months review is to be done. fund us examination should exclude hole or tear in retina.
