hai,
pain in the left upper abdomen suggestive of Acute pancreatitis. It is a painful swelling (Inlammation)of the pancreas, located in the upper left side of your abdomen and sometimes pain radiate to the shoulder.

There are direct and indirect causes of pancreatitis, including obstructions, immune system reactions, viral infections, and reactions to certain medications.

we should correlate with other present symptoms too like fever, vomiting etc.
Need Ultrasound abdomen for Investigation.

Kindly visit a gastroenterologist to fix your problem.
