Does Ganaton And Nexium Cause Tired And Weak?

I am taking Ganaton 50mg -3 times a day together with Nexium 20mg- 2 tablets once a day. I am given these drugs because of having abdomenal pain due to my gallbladder stones. I would like to know why after taking this drugs in the morning I usually feel my body is tired and weak and feel like sleeping. Also my head and stomach is not comfortable after taking these drugs. I am told to take this two drugs for 4 weeks and follow by another 8 weeks of Zenpro once a day. Can you be advise . Thank you Doctor.

Ganaton contains itopride which is used to treat nausea, vomiting and prevent the feeling of fullness during or shortly after meal. It is also used to treat stomach discomfort or heartburn due to excessive acid production in the stomach. Side effects of Ganaton are diarrhea, headache, dry mouth, tiredness, sleepiness, weakness, stomach pain, dizziness, fatigue, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long, then you should consult your doctor.

Nexium contains esomeprazole which is used to treat conditions caused by too much acid production in your stomach. These conditions include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellision syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infections. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers due to the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Side effects of Nexium are flatulence, stomach pain, weakness, tiredness, dizziness, headache, fatigue, sleepiness etc. If these side effects bother you for long, then you can contact your doctor for medical help.
