What Can Cause Choking,cough And Chest Pain?

i was eating soup with meatballs and took a breath of air in while having food in my mouth. i feel like food may have gone down the wrong pipe, i started to choke but at the same time i think i swallowed. i was coughing for a bit and had some chest pain for a few mins. i've been burping. is there anything i should be concerned about? i'm 28 yrs old

The food may have tried to go to your wind pipe,but we have the protective reflex coughing which helps to throw it out .Usually minimal aspiration settles by itself.Watch for breathlessness/ persistent cough.
