What Can Cause Brown Vaginal Discharge And Urethral Discomfort While Voiding?

Having brown vaginal discharge with some urethral/vaginal discomfort when voiding. Having pinchy sensations with lower suprapubic discomfort. Have been previously tested for urinary infections and were all negative. Discharge is not frequent but currently it had been 3 days. Total hysterectomy with bilateral oopherectomy in 1994. Not sexually active. Celibate since 94. This has been occurring since 1/2018. My urologist was unable to assist. Thought it could be a fistula but discharge has no odor, that I can sense. What could this be?

Hi,

This looks like urinary tract infection. You should repeat the urine sample and uroculture. Also a vaginal smear can be done.

I think antibiotics may be needed. Take Ibuprofen for pain.

Drink lots of fluids especially cranberry juice or tea.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
