Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi: breast enalrgement in a 5 year and 9 month child is not normal. It could be a sign of early or precocious puberty. Does she have axillary and pubic hairs. She needs to be examined by an endocrinologist and might require estimation of bone age and other hormones. If any thing abnormal detected she would require treatment.
