My urine has had a smoky smell for the last two months. I had honeymoon cystitis in January and had a round of antibiotics that cleared that up. I went to doc about two months ago because of pain again...nothing detected in the office but sent in and did have a UTI. My urine continued to have a smoky, ham smell so went in again. They said no sign of infection but cloudy. I continue to have the funky smell. What s up? Do I go in again?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, ideally urine need to be examine for culture sensitivity test, if something comes out then it need to be managed accordingly and if no organism is developed then no need to worry about this, but drinking more water could clear the odor else it is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
