What Can Be The Reason For The Pain In The Testes?

good morning doctor
I am a young d 19 with a sex life and very active sports but
lately I've been very concerned about pain that I've been
presenting in the testes when my sport (soccer) this pain often does not let me run and I had to stop playing for the pain that I want to know is if you could give me an idea of what may perhaps I have as I have said it may be a hernia but I can not believe this theory because any observed nowadays not unusual swelling in my testicles what worries me is the pain that tortures me some time after sporting activity.

thanks
daniel

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of pain in the testes during sports life.

The commonest cause can be recurrent testicular torsion and this occurs in your case due to pulling up of the testes due to strong contractions of the lower muscles which gives a sling of muscles in continuity as cremaster muscles.
If this is so then a simple surgery to fix the testes can give you permanent relief.
Get a proper diagnosis by consultation with Urologist, color doppler and ultrasound of the scrotum.
Get the proper treatment done. And you will be fine.
I find this answer helpful
