What Can Be The Cause Of Pain Around The Palatoglossal Arch?
Hello
Over the passed 2 weeks I have been experiencing pain on the very back right side of my soft palate around the palatoglossal arch - at it there are no lumps or bumps but when I press my forefinger upwards it feels bruised - I also feel this bruised pulling feeling on the right side when I purse my lips. There's a slight dull ache in my right ear as well. My doctor has ruled out a throat infection and my dentist couldn't see anything untoward when carrying out an oral examination. I'm at a loss as to what this could be - can you advise?
