What Can Be Expected In Case Of Shortness Of Breath, Wheezing And Elevated Enzymes?

hi my dad is in the hospital for shortness of breath. wheezing bad, he is 74. they say his enzymes are elevated, fluid on the lungs. they are giving him breathing treatments. also something with the heart muscle. should I jump on a plane? he is in florida I am in ohio.

hello, thanks for your query, fluid in lungs( pleural effusion, elevated cardiac enzymes( mi). both can cause breathlessness with wheeze. he requires closed monitoring and oxygen support in icu care. at 70 plus, things will b serious, plz be patient, hope for d best. all d best. take care.
