What Can Be Done In Case Of Reduced Bleeding After Taking Mtpill Kit?

my last period date was 8/2/14 and it suppose to happen 8/3/14 but it has not. i took testing kit and checked on 20th and it confirmed conceived. then i took mtpill kit for termination on 23/3/24 but i had bleeding for 3 days and now it is redused can u pls suggest

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
It is not advisable to take MTpill kit without examination and consultation with a doctor. The exact duration of pregnancy as well as location of pregnancy to be inside the uterus needs to be confirmed before taking the drugs. If not taken properly it may result in incomplete abortion.

Please check to see if you had cramping, and passed clots with a fleshy mass. If yes then it is more likely to be a complete abortion. If not, then incomplete abortion is likely. Also another issue is that a follow up is advised with your doctor after 7-14 days after taking the pill to confirm that the abortion was complete.

If you have not bled adequately, it is better to see a doctor and get an ultrasound done to rule out any retained bits. If retained bits are seen then a surgical check curette may be needed to remove them.
