YES, I HAVE A PT THAT HAS BEEN TESTED FOR HEP B AND C... THE TESTS CAME BACK NORMAL OR BASICALLY NEGATIVE... BUT THE PT HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO THE VIRIS AT AN EARLY AGE... SHE HAD A CT DONE OF ABD/PELVIC WHICH SHOWED LYMPH NODES IN THE PORTA HEPATIS (WHICH PT IS EXPRESSING PAIN) WHAT IS THE NEXT MOVE I SHOULD MAKE?

Do an ELISA test for hepatitis C and hepatitis B for confirmation. Porta hepatis lymph nodes is a non specific finding and doesn't signify any disease conditions. No treatment is required as of now, do a follow up scan after six months.
