What Can Be Done For Irregular Heart Beat For Fetus In 28 Weeks Pregnancy?

Hi, i am now 28 weeks pregnant and in my last OB visit Dr found my baby has an irregular heartbeat and was sent me to to ultrasound, it was same irregular. They called next and Cardiologist specialist checked he did not found any irregular heartbeat everything was normal. Now my question is.....is this any thing i need to worry or it will go as the baby develops.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Irregular heart beat in the fetus can be due to congenital heart blocks or congenital heart anomalies in the fetus.
If the cardiologist has done the fetal echo and has not found anything abnormal, then you should get a repeat fetal echo after 2 weeks to confirm that everything is normal.
You should also get your ANA, SS-A, SS-B antibodies levels checked as their presence in the mother's body can cause congenital heart block and irregular heart rate in the patient.
