I went to a scan these is was on my scan result The uterus is bulky, gravid and anteverted in position with a myoma in the anterior myometrium measuring 3:3x3:0 cm Uterine cavity harbours a well defind gestational sac with fetal pole but no cardiac noted CRL 17:2mm GA 8 weeks, 1 Both adnexac are free No ovarian mass seen No fluid collection is noted in the pouch of Douglas Impression: Missed Abortion coexisting with intramural fibroid Evacuation is Advised . Please I need explanation on these and what to do about it.
It is so unfortunate to know about your miscarriage. I see from your scan report that the gestational age is 8 weeks. Fibroid is nothing to worry about, it's small in size and myometrial, but with this background I would have suggested to start with medical termination pills instead of evacuation. That would avoid a surgical procedure and anesthesia risks.
