What Are The Symptoms Of Syphilis?

I found a "pimple" near the base of my penis yesterday. It seems to be healing quickly, but am worried because I'm currently sick with a sore throat. My last sexual experience was 2 weeks ago, but without any penetration. Although, there was skin on skin contact. After some research, I'm worried of syphilis. Should I be?

Hi,
welcome to HCM.
Syphilis manifests with a comparatively a hard sore on genitals following 2-3 weeks after the high risk exposure. Usually it would be a painless ulcer. It will heal with or without treatment after 1 month to 45 days. Pimple like lesion, healing within a day or two, could unlikely be due to Syphilis. Sore throat is also not common with Syphilis.
