What Are The Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

I got my period on the 21st and ended this Wed. It wasnt heavy. Since yesterday I still feel like my bottom belly is bloated and had slight light cramps in my belly to my back. I dont know if I am pregnant and I am afraid to test to soon since I just had my period, This has never happened before.

Hi there,
It is not possible that you are pregnant if you have just had your period.
We expect pregnancy only if you have missed a period. Since you have had one just last week it is not possible that you are pregnant.
The pain and bloated feeling could be due to other causes and not pregnancy.
If you are concerned about getting pregnant, you should take contraception in the form of either pill, injectables or intrauterine device, they each have their positive and negative sides.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Hi,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you did not see a normal period and had only scanty menstruation, it is possible that you were experiencing the implantation bleeding. Urine tests for pregnancy may not be of much help here and so, you have to go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. If positive, you should get a trans-vaginal sonogram done to know the status of the pelvic organs. If negative, you could possibly be experiencing a transient hormone imbalance which is most often, self-corrective. Please maintain a healthy weight and a healthy diet. Hope this helps.
