Im 7 days late on my period and on the 7th day i started bleeding but reddish orange, ive taken a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. My husband and I are trying for our 3rd and final child. Could I be pregnant? This has never happened, my periods have been regular

Hello ma'am and welcome.

You have failed to mention your age and this could possibly be the reason why you are experiencing this. If you are around 40 years of age, then I would recommend visiting a doctor who should help you plan your third and final child at the earliest as you could be experiencing symptoms of pre-menopause.

But if you are much younger then we could still consider pregnancy and have to actively rule it out because many women return a negative result to home pregnancy tests up until the 3rd month of pregnancy. So do not worry, and please do visit your doctor in a weeks time or take another home pregnancy test within a week or 2.
