Im on minastrin birth control for a few months now recently I forgot to take some pills but took them as soon as I remembered the nxt day. This past month I stopped taking the brown pills so I wouldn't get my period. I had unprotected sex with my husband ejaculationg inside of me and now I am having dark dark brown discharge ... Took a pregnancy tests few days after sex and it was negative

I understand your concern.
Minastrin Fe is a combined contraceptive with iron. Which is supposed to be taken regularly at same time every day. Missing pills/ dropping the pills causes hormonal disturbance- causing a delayed period in your case.
The brown pills are non hormonal pills causing withdrawal bleeding. Even if you skin them, withdrawal bleeding will occure,provided the pills were taken regularly throughout the month--- But you had taken them irregularly, causing delay, blackish bleeding.
