What Are The Symptoms Of Migraine?

I have been having a sharp pain (that only last for a few seconds) behind my left ear, in my head. It comes and goes very randomly. I am just trying to figure out if I pulled a nerve somewhere or maybe have a migraine? I have never had one so I don t think that is the case.

Hi,

That pain is not due to migraine. Migraine attacks by definition last at least 4 hours, so the duration of the pain goes against it. Nerve pinching might be an issue, but at times the cause may remain unknown often due to stress causing scalp muscle spasms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olsi Taka, Neurologist
