Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Atorvastatin is a relatively safe medicine and the incidence of adverse reaction is low. It can produce inflammation of the liver or of the muscles rarely. So if you have muscle pain or yellow coloured urine, you should meet your doctor after stopping the medicine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Noble Zachariah, Internal Medicine Specialist
